A Love Story at the Edge of the World

This is a honeymoon for couples who want their romance wrapped in true Arctic adventure—where the silence feels intimate, the horizons feel infinite, and every shared challenge becomes part of your story. Across 9 nights, you’ll move through Eastern Greenland by snowmobile, dog sled, and snowshoes, with expert guiding and a pace designed for connection, not chaos. At HoneymoonXperts®, your planning/design fee is translated into real deliverables: a discovery session to define your travel style, curated route and experience options, thoughtful iterations to refine the details, and a final plan with checklists—plus support for changes as your departure approaches.

Akureyri: A Calm First Night in North Iceland

Begin with a quick overnight in Akureyri in North Iceland—a soft landing that lets you reset, sleep well, and start the expedition feeling aligned. One quiet evening together here makes everything that follows feel smoother, especially when the days turn wonderfully remote.

Constable Point & Liverpool Land: Summit Views and an Igloo Night for Two

Next, you’ll touch down in Constable Point on the rugged peninsula of Liverpool Land in Eastern Greenland. Spend time with your local guide getting comfortable with equipment and the flow of the coming days—then step straight into the kind of scenery that makes you forget the rest of the world exists.

Your first big moment comes fast: a guided climb up one of Liverpool Land’s jagged peaks, rewarding you with sweeping views over the frozen Hurry fjord and expansive mountain ranges beyond. Afterward, refuel with an explorer-style lunch served in authentic Weatherhaven tents.

As evening settles in, you’ll build your own igloo together—part craft, part teamwork, part childhood dream—and then choose to bed down inside your ice chamber (or retreat to the Weatherhaven if you prefer extra warmth).

Ittoqqortoormiit & Scoresbysund: Cozy Culture and a Dog Sled Day

Wake up in the elements and begin your snowmobile journey through wide white landscapes, pausing at a viewpoint where sea ice breaks into jagged shards and icebergs puncture the surface. Your destination is Ittoqqortoormiit, a remote Inuit settlement overlooking Scoresbysund—isolated, striking, and deeply memorable.

After a private tour, spend the next two nights in a local guesthouse and experience Kaffemik, the Greenlandic custom of welcoming guests with warmth, conversation, and small comforts that feel especially meaningful this far from everywhere.

Then, travel the classic way: by dog sled. With your husky team leading, you’ll glide to the deserted village of Kap Hope, continue to Kap Tobin (now a local hunting outpost), and reach nearby steaming hot springs—an unexpectedly romantic contrast to the ice. Finish the day by sledding up to an icecap summit for tremendous coastal views.

Kalkdal Valley & Postkassen Valley: Polar Picnics and a Final Peak

Return by snowmobile to Constable Point, then slow the rhythm with snowshoes—an easy, playful way to explore deep powder side by side. The next day, re-upping the pace on snowmobiles, keep your eyes peeled for signs of polar bears, musk ox, hares, and foxes as you cross the frozen Hurry fjord and push into the remote Kalkdal Valley.

Lunch becomes a once-in-a-lifetime moment: a delicious picnic served on a remote iceberg—simple food, surreal setting, the two of you fully present. That evening, choose between a tent or the remote Kalkdal hut, embracing a final night that feels like a true expedition.

On your last morning, snowshoe through the trail-less region of Kalkdal, then take a quick snowmobile run into Postkassen Valley for one final guided peak climb—your closing look at Eastern Greenland’s wild beauty—before heading home via Reykjavik.
